  • What Is Capstone Project

🔰In 5th Semester a group of students is formed to select a project proposal and project topic for 50 marks and a project guide is fixed.

🔰Each group has to select their project topic in the fifth semester with the help of their project guide.   

🔰In 6th Semester project and report file for 100 marks is prepared and submitted to the college.


Capstone Project—Execution and Report Writing’ is the continuation of the fifth semester course on 'Capstone Project—Planning’. So, in sixth semester, the students have to implement the detailed Capstone Project Plan, which they have prepared in the preceding  semester. Therefore, to successfully complete this Capstone Project by the end of sixth semester.


Project report 

During the final Semester, the student will prepare a ‘Project Report’ in continuation with the 

activities conducted in fifth semester under Project Planning having following sub-titles:

Note

I. The report should contain as many diagrams, figures and charts etc as relevant for the project.

II. Originality of the report (written in own words) would be given more importance 

rather than quality of printing and use of glossy paper or multi-colour printing

1. Obstacle Avoiding Robot using Arduino and Ultrasonic Sensor -



Obstacle Avoiding Robot is an intelligent device that can automatically sense the obstacle in front of it and avoid them by turning itself in another direction. This design allows the robot to navigate in an unknown environment by avoiding collisions, which is a primary requirement for any autonomous mobile robot. The application of the Obstacle Avoiding robot is not limited and it is used in most of the military organizations now which helps carry out many risky jobs that cannot be done by any soldiers.

2SMART CAR PARKING SYSTEM USING MICROCONTROLLER (Smart Car Parking System using Arduino Uno.)

An automated car parking system is a process through which car parking can be done more efficiently and easily than manual method. The system will provide the user better services. The system counts the number of cars in the garage and checks if there’s any vacancy. There’s an entry and exit path. When vehicle enters, the display shows the number of cars inside. When any vehicle leaves, the count decreases and shown on display. If the garage is full. The display will show a message regarding that. This whole process includes the use of Arduino, Display and sonar. The sonar detects whether the vehicle is entering or leaving. The report then showed on display

1.  U-TURN ACCIDENT PREVENTION SYSTEM 


Often modern cars have a collision avoidance system built into them known as Pre-Crash System, or Collision Mitigation System in order to reduce the collision. But majority of vehicles on the road, especially heavy motor vehicles lack in such a system. In this paper, the implementation of the Collision Avoidance System is to reduce the risks of collisions at the hairpin bend on a Hilly track, Ghats, or other Zero visibility turns. The proposed system contains a set of IR sensors, LEDs, etc. It uses four IR sensors, which are placed on either side of the hairpin bend. The sensors are mutually exclusive and are connected to LEDs through wires. Based on the output of sensors, the LEDs will glow and start alerting the other vehicle approaching from the other end, Hence the drivers will decrease their speeds which would help in preventing collision. The LEDs will help the drivers in detecting the position of the vehicles on either side of the bend. During climatic conditions like fog, snow, etc, the visibility of the drivers would decrease due to which they will not be able to see the LEDs, Hence, a collision may take place. To bring help as soon as possible to the injured, we have also made a proposed system which would alert the nearby hospitals that an accident has taken place. We have used Arduino UNO, GSM sim module and these will be kept inside a black box which will be inside the, car safe from breakage during the accident.



2AUTOMATIC RAIN SENSING CAR WIPER SYSTEM





Today’s car wipers are manual systems that work on the principle of manual switching. So here we propose an automatic wiper system that automatically switches ON on detecting rain and stops when rain stops. Our project brings forward this system to automate the wiper system having no need for manual intervention. For this purpose we use rain sensor along with microcontroller and driver IC to drive the wiper motor. Our system uses rain sensor to detect rain, this signal is then processed by microcontroller to take the desired action. The rain sensor works on the principle of using water for completing its circuit, so when rain falls on it it’s circuit gets completed and sends out a signal to the microcontroller. The microcontroller now processes this data and drives the motor IC to perform required action. The motor driver IC now drives a servomotor to simulate as a car wiper





3. Automatic Pneumatic Gear Changing System for two wheeler 




The main objective of this concept is to apply the gear by using automation system in automobile vehicles. This is the new innovative model mainly used for the vehicles to control the vehicle. Here we are concentrating to design the Pneumatic Gear Shifter For Two Wheeler mechanism in two wheeler vehicles by using the electronic devices. This is very useful for the gear changing mechanism in automobile vehicles. By using this we can easily control the vehicle and improve the performance of the vehicle also we can avoid the wear and tear of the gear.

1. Cloud Deployment Tool


This cloud Deployment tool is usefull for deploying AWS services like EC2 instance (Virtual machine), this project is developed using Aws Cloud, Terraform scripting, HTML, PHP, CSS, Json 

User will input requirements of Virtual machine , all data will convert to Json object and Json file will pass to powershell script , ect.. working..

future enhancement:- Multi cloud Deployment tool based on multiple cloud providers , User can. switch easily from one cloud to another ,

Project is easy and best for cloud Deployment, Future enhancement is Unique, No one developed such a good idea till the date , so you can easily convince your teacher to select this project title




2Content Aggrigator Web Application

Content Aggrigator fetch the data from one or more website and rearrange that data , also after rearranging data it displays all that data on another website

It helps a lot where data is in scattered form and someone wants to collect all important data from that scattered data,

This project is based on some best technology such as Jenkins, CICD (Continous Integration and Continuous Delivery) , Python(backend), Html (frontend).

future enhancement:- You can sell it to the Companies because many companies use content Aggrigator for their website and managing databases
